Diamantes Group's story

The “Diamantes” (Diamonds) Group is led by Sra. Dilian and consists of eleven members who know each other because they live in the same neighborhood. A majority of the members are engaged in commercial businesses. For example, the group president sells groceries. Others sell food, clothing, cosmetics, bread, shoes, milk, and yogurt. Regarding the competitive environment, the members argue that the level of competition is high but they know how to deal with it because they have expertise in their specific fields and know their families’ livelihoods depend on them.

This loan will be used to expand their businesses by purchasing merchandise, supplies, and tools to facilitate their work. As for their previous credit experience, the members have participated in both individual and solidarity group loans, so they have extensive knowledge of how to manage their funds, invest in their businesses, and complete their obligations. They hope this opportunity will guarantee a better quality of life for their families.
