A loan helped to buy furniture and build a new computer lab in her school for low-income and socially disadvantaged students.


Sadia's story

Sadia a 30 year old woman, had a plan to provide low cost education to socially disadvantaged students. Therefore, she established a low cost private school about7 years ago . There are 549 students in her school, out which 40% are female.

The aim of the school is to develop social awareness, group responsibility and empathy through the social context of learning.

The school is facing a shortage of furniture and Sadia wants to construct a computer lab in school as well, so her students can have some know-how of technology alongside other areas of education.

She has requested an amount of PKR. 300,000 for purchasing furniture and constructing a new computer lab.
