A loan helped to buy five sheep, three goats, and five sacks of corn bran.

Koudougou's story

Koudougou is a married man and a father of eight children, aged from three to 20 years old. Four of the children go to school.

Koudougou has raised small ruminants for more than 10 years in a peripheral area. This is his first loan cycle with the micro-finance institution YIKRI. He plans to use his loan to buy five sheep, three goats, and five sacks of corn bran so he can raise his animals well. He will resell the animals at an opportune time.

Koudougou hopes to use his profits to reinvest in his livestock farming and to save so he can pay his children's school fees.
