Mrs. Chanthol K. is 52 years old, and a village bank president. She has been selected as president by the group members, who will use the loan for different purposes. This village bank loan group consists of 21 members who all live in Damnak Sangkae Village in Kandal Province. Mrs. Chanthol K. is a farmer who owns a plot of land for growing rice. Her husband, Mr. Sem Som, owns three trucks for transporting soil to resell. However hard this family tries to earn money with their business, they still earn less income than is needed to support their family. Thus, Mrs. Chanthol K. decided to request a loan to start a new career in buying piglets for breeding. This couple has four children who are studying at a local public school. All the members are shown in the picture but some of tH. are blocked.
