Jani's story

Jani is a customer of the Communal Bank “Las Golondrinas II" in the Tarapoto District of San Martin Province. She is 28, married and has a son who is still her dependent.

Jani used to sell beauty products. However, her will to prosper on her own has inspired her to set up her business of room rentals, located in her own home. She has an established clientele who come from other areas of the country to study or work. She receives her earnings at the end of the month from the payment of the rental fees. She tells us that she is very responsible with her payments and plans to start another type of business. With this loan of 1500 soles, she will buy bathroom accessories (for the toilets and showers) and buckets of paint to modify and improve the infrastructure of the rooms.

Jani feels she is full of strength to continue working in order to ensure herself a peaceful retirement. She is very thankful for the Manuela Ramos movement for contributing to the fulfillment of her goals and dreams.
