Marina's story

Marina is a very punctual member. She lives in the Callería district in the Ucayali region. She is 55, and she has three grown and independent children. She sells cold drinks in her house. She has her husband’s support; he works for the municipality. Marina has been part of the Nuevas Amigas Communal Bank for six years. She bought cold drinks with her first loan for 300 PEN. Now she needs a loan for 2,000 PEN to buy cold drinks. Marina’s goal is to have a well equipped soda fountain, which would allow her to generate greater earnings.
