A loan helped to pay labourers to bring in the harvest of basic grains.

Petrona Del Carmen's story

Petrona has a ninth-grade education and has a partner, who is a labourer. Petrona has three children, two of whom are studying.

Petrona makes a living growing basic grains. She has eleven years’ experience, having learned the trade from her parents. The land where Petrona grows her crops is 1km from her house. She works in the morning and her partner helps.

When Petrona is not sowing crops, she buys corn to grind and make flour to sell.

Petrona needs a loan to pay labourers to bring in the harvest of basic grains.

She dreams of continuing to work in order to give her children the best living conditions.
