A loan helped to buy three pigs to butcher and then sell the meat in order to generate extra income.

José Nicolás's story

José attended school through the third grade. He is in a relationship and has three children who are dependent on him. His partner takes care of the home.

José works in agriculture. His parents taught him this trade beginning when he was ten years old. He walks 20 minutes from his house to his farmland. He works from 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. His children help him. He also buys pigs to butcher and then sells the meat to generate extra income.

He will use the loan to buy three pigs to butcher and then sell the meat. José's dream is to improve his home and to pay off his loan punctually.
