A loan of $700 helped increase in merchandise.

Gaudecia's story

Gaudencia is 50 years old and lives with her husband and children in their own home. For the last 12 years she has devoted herself to selling second hand clothes that she acquires from the capital city. To get the bags of clothing, she travels to Lima every 15 days and on some occasions she has her merchandise sent to her. Her best sales take place during commercial markets and during festivals in rural areas of her locality. In their spare time, her husband and her oldest daughter help transport the merchandise. For Gaudecia, this work has allowed her to have the necessary earnings to support her family, and adds to the money her husband. For the future, she wishes to have a more permanent stall where she can conduct her sales more comfortably and with higher frequency.

This is the first time that she has a loan with MFP and is happy to have a boost in her capital to improve her business. With the money, she will buy more clothes to increase her sales.
