Exilda's story

Exilda, 29, is a very punctual woman who lives in the Manantay district, Ucayali region. She has one minor son and she sells vegetables and groceries in the Hoyada market. Her husband, who is in the same line of work, supports her work endeavors. Exilda has been a member of the "Las Brisas de Ucayali" communal bank for a year. Her first, 300 sol, loan was used to buy vegetables. She now needs 1200 soles to buy groceries and vegetables to sell. Exilda's goal is to have her own, well-stocked, grocery store in order to have higher profits.
