A loan of $725 helped to buy game meat to sell.

Afua's story

Afua is fifty-seven years old. She is a widowed mother of eight children. Some of her children are in school. She lives with her children in a rented apartment in a commercial community.

Afua sells game meat, such as grass cutter (rodent meat that is a delicacy in Ghana). She procures the bush meat from hunters in her locality and in nearby communities. Afua supplies the meat to food vendors in her community. She has been in business for thirty years and wants a loan to expand her business.
