El Mamón Group's story

The group El Mamón is made up of three hard-working, enterprising, and strong-willed women who labor arduously. One of them is Mrs. Filena del Rosario N. N., who makes shoes.

She learned this trade at an early age, and it is a tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation in her family. She still remembers the first shoe that she made, which she says turned out poorly, but with practice she got better and better, eventually becoming a master at the job.

Her group partners perform different activities. Maria Petrona G. has a modest store, which she dreams about turning into a wholesale distribution company. Modesta P. makes and sells blankets, which she has done since her childhood when she would help her mother.

In this group: Filena Del Rosario, María Petrona, Modesta
