Nisida's story

Nisida is a member of the "Mujeres Activas de Belén” Community Bank in the district of Moyobamaba, Moyobamba Province, San Martin Provincial Department. She is 23 year old, single and has one son, who she still supports.

Nisida sells groceries and grains. She started her business many years ago and built it little by little. Her character and yearning to follow her dreams and move forward have motivated her to establish her business in the district's central market. With the income from her business she later decided to implement a vegetables sales business.

She has been gaining customers, who come to her store daily since they can find everything a household needs there. She tends to them herself, with the kindness and charisma that characterizes her.

With this loan of S/.3,000.00 she will buy sacs of rice and sugar, noodles in packages, boxed milk and fish preserves in a variety of brands, household cleaning supplies and personal health items to better serve her customers. Part of the money will also be invested in the purchase of different types of grains.

Nisida is very motivated to continue working. She is very thankful for the Manuela Ramos Movement for helping women like her to have opportunity to improve themselves within the activity they develop.
