A loan of $6,700 helps a member to pay for charcoal and the transport costs for bolstering her business.

Yesu Ni Jibu Group's story

Ms. JULIENNE is the president of the 'banc villageois' named “YESU NI JIBU”. She sells charcoal at the local central market. A client of the microfinance institution for nine years, she is 44, married, and the mother of six children, who are in school. With funds from her husband, who is also a merchant, she started off in commerce early on. And then Hekima followed up next.

With this loan, she is going to pay for 30 sacks of charcoal and the transport costs for bolstering her business. Her big concern is to provide an education and food for all of her children under good conditions. She also wants to open a big warehouse to serve more customers. So, she thanks Hekima and its cherished partners for the financial support provided to those with low incomes.
