A loan helped to purchase a new buffalo and good quality fodder.

Shehnaz's story

Shehnaz is 40 and involved in a livestock business with her husband at the subsistence level. She lives in a small village near Sheikhupura, Pakistan. Her village is surrounded by lush green fields and is an ideal place for agriculture-related businesses.

She takes care of the animals (baby goats and calves) and sells milk as well as goats for meat purposes. This additional income helps her to manage the educational expenses of her children. She now wants to buy more animals to increase her earnings but lacks money to do so. She therefore has requested a loan to finance the purchase of animals.

This will help her increase the profit margin and earn a better income.

She is obliged to Kiva and JWS Pakistan.

This loan is special because:

It helps women entrepreneurs grow their small businesses.
