A loan helped to buy four dairy cows to increase her herd and organic milk sales.

Altynai's story

The 31-year-old Altynai is married, with three children. She has a secondary education, and is industrious and cheerful by nature. She has been working in agriculture since 2007, and this is her family's main source of income. Thanks to Altynai's hard work and her husband's help with the farm, it presently consists of 21 cows and a 0.4-hectare plot of land on which she grows pepper plants and beans.

In order to develop her farm further, Altynai has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 200,000 som (KGS), with which she will buy four dairy cows to increase her herd and its organic milk yield. She plans to put the income generated by the loan into developing her farm, saving part of it to buy a family vehicle and to make major repairs to her home.
