A loan of $875 helped to buy more cattle.

Juana's story

Juana is thirty-nine and lives with her husband and children in her own house. She has been raising and selling cattle for many years, an opportunity she makes the most of by working on a cattle ranch. She raises her own animals, and after several months of caring for and fattening them up she sells them at a market or to a slaughterhouse to earn the fruits of months of great sacrifice. In the future she would like to have a stable to house more animals so she can keep growing her capital. This will be her eigth loan with MFP. She feels very happy to be part of her village bank and once again she promises to make each payment promptly. She plans to use her loan to buy two young purebred bulls.
