A loan helped to buy a few kilos of seeds and fertilizer for rice farming.

Jean Fidelis's story

Jean Fidelis is 43 years old and married. His three children are already all autonomous. He himself has been a farmer since he was young, and he farms and raises animals on a daily basis. The harvests cover the family's daily outgoings.

Vahatra has helped him with buying farming inputs, and with the last loan he was able to expand his carrot farming. His capital has increased. For the past ten years he has been farming rice, but he is lacking funds. He is therefore calling on lenders to grant him the necessary means to buy a few kilos of seeds and fertilizers. The profits that Jean Fidelis hopes to make will be used to buy a motorbike.
