A loan helped to buy staple goods and to stock her store.

Hermita Pascuala's story

Hermita Pascuala is 54 years old. She is married and has four grown children. Her husband is a merchant. They live in Picoaza, a place with hard-working people who devote themselves mostly to commerce and agriculture.

She and her husband earn a living thanks to a general store they have at their house. She sells all types of basic needs items, vegetables, variety store items, and school supplies, among others. They offer, day to day, the best service to their customers. The customers are the ones that make it possible for them to earn a living.

Also, on weekends, Herminia's husband sells underwear by travelling to other cantons where he is able to sell more.

The loan will be used to stock her store and to buy more underwear for her husband's sales.

Herminia's hope is that she can continue improving her store.
