Arceli is married and has three adult children. To make a living, Arceli owns & operates a business selling fish, fruits and vegetables. Arceli has been engaged in her business for over eight years and earns approximately PHP 600 weekly. Aside from vending, Arceli also raises hogs.

In 2008, Arceli joined ASKI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Arceli is requesting a new loan of 10,000 PHP, which will be used to purchase hog feed. This loan will be the fourth loan taken out by Arceli from ASKI. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve the general living conditions of her family.
