Daniel's story

Thirty-two-year-old Daniel is a micro-entrepreneur from Malibay, Pasay City, Philippines. He is married to Cheryl, 30, who stays at home to take care of their young children and do the home chores.

Daniel has a rolling store, where he sells assorted plasticware products. He started this business more than ten years ago, and he is glad to know that there are organizations that can help improve his business.

He would like to request a loan that will be used in buying assorted plastic products, such as hangers, water jugs, cleaning items, etc. He hopes that his business will continue to grow and offer more products. He dreams of giving his family a better future.

Daniel is a member of the Center for Community Transformation and meets weekly with his fellowship partners to share his life’s testimony and business experience with his fellowship members. He also draws strength and inspiration from the fellowship and listening to the Word of God. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 20 members. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social relationship among partners, and pay microfinance loans.
