A loan helped to buy a solar powered refrigeration system for his grocery store.

Javier's story

Javier lives in the community of Atlantida, Honduras. He is 42 years old and is the father of four children. He and his wife, Feliciana, want to provide the best education possible to their children, and see them become professionals.

From a young age Javier has worked as a foreman on a farm. He also works growing beans and corn, and raises cattle. He is a fighter, which is why he and has wife opened a grocery store a year ago, which has generated more income. However, because there is no electricity in their community, they are limited in their ability to offer products that require refrigeration to their customers.

For that reason Javier is seeking a loan through Soluz Honduras to buy a solar powered refrigeration system for his grocery store. This will increase the sales of his business and will help him provide better service to his customers through a greater variety of products.
