A loan of $875 helped purchase of inventory to supply her store.

Kiria's story

Kiria is 34 years old. Her family is made up of her husband and two small children. They live together in their own house. In order to help support her children she decided to sell general goods in a small space in front of her house a year ago. Her business has allowed her to earn some income to help her family and support her children's schooling.

Being able to communicate with people is what she likes the most about her job. This ended up being an advantage since now she has a big clientele which helps keep her sales high. Her job also helps her husband, a policeman, with the family expenses. Kiria plans to have a mini-market in the future and will have to work hard to get there.

This is her sixth loan with MFP and she vows to be on time with her payments. She says she enjoys working with the group since they are all very communicative. She will invest the loan in the purchase of inventory so that her business can prosper.
