A loan of $450 helped to increase her working capital.

Dieyla's story

Mrs. Dieyla N., aged 52, is a very active woman who lives in Ouakam. She is well known and appreciated in the Ouakam branch of U-IMCEC, due to her loyalty and regularity. At the same time she launched her business, she became a client with our institution. Her primary activity is selling vegetables and local products. She chose this activity because she did not want to ever lead an idle life. She always wanted to make a living by the sweat of her brow.

Mrs. N. is a widow who provides alone for her six children. She has been a member of our Ouakam branch for nine years and repaid on schedule already nine loans. These loans enabled her to boost her working capital and bolster her primary business. They even enabled her to launch another activity, which is selling cosmetics and similar items that she usually buys in Morocco. Mrs. N. is proud to travel, be in contact with many people and discover other cultures. She will be the beneficiary of this loan.

Always looking to actively participate in the fight against poverty, U-IMCEC – with the positive support of lenders – succeeds in supporting women in revenue-generating activities which promote valuable socioeconomic development.
