A loan helped to send the money to support his family's mini market business in Syria by buying some goodies to sell.


Kinan's story

Kinan is a 24-year-old single Syrian refugee who left his home town in Syria seeking better living conditions. He works in a bakery, where he bakes delicious Manakish and tasty pastries.

He's a hardworking youth who works hard to support his family and to increase his income.

This is his third loan from Kiva’s field partner Al Majmoua, and he proved to be a reliable borrower. Kinan mentioned that the previous loan helped him with supporting his established business in his home country, Syria, financially.

Kinan is acquiring this loan in order to send the money to support his family's mini market business in Syria by buying some goodies to sell.

Kinan wishes to return back to Syria and live happily there beside his beloved family.
