Elizabeth is 35 years old. She is a married woman with five children. Currently all her children are in school. She lives with her family in Axim in the western region of Ghana. She has been a baker for the last 10 years. In spite of the challenges she faces, she bakes bread, cakes, meat pies, chips, etc. and retails them to her customers. She sells them herself in the market center to her customers. People also take bulk delivery of bread from her. Her only problem now has to do with having adequate funds to buy raw materials, as prices are shooting up. She requests a loan to help her remain in business. With the loan, she believes she can provide for her family and most especially her children's education.
