Abdel Hakim is a Palestinian man who is married with five children: three boys aged 19, 14 and 10, and two girls aged 8 and 6 years old. He lives with his family in a nearby village of Jenin.
Abdel Hakim is a taxi driver, operating between Jenin city and Jericho for people who want to travel to Jordan, since Jericho city is where the border crossings are located. His work is the primary source of income for his family but in addition to that he owns agricultural land where he plants olive and almond trees; his wife takes care of the land and its cultivation.
Abel Hakim has requested 1,500 USD from FATEN to pay his son’s university fees. He hopes that his son will have a university degree and get a better education than he did, himself.
