A loan of $1,200 helped buy a dairy cow.

Bernabe's story

Bernabé is 63, married, and has five children. They are a family with scarce economic resources. Two of his children are currently working in Argentina because they did not have sufficient resources for them to study a professional career. His youngest daughter has an eight month old baby. In spite of this, she continues studying for a technical career. When she goes to classes her mother takes care of the baby.

Bernabé lives in the city of Cochabamba in the Mallco Chapi community. His business is the production of raw milk. He delivers his product to a business that makes different dairy products. He currently has eight head of dairy cows.

The loan will be used to buy a dairy cow, which will increase milk production and improve his level of earnings.

Some of Bernabé’s goals and dreams are to increase milk production, make improvements on his house, and that his youngest daughter finish her career studies.
