A loan of $575 helped buy more fruit for her fruit cart.

Consuela's story

Consuela is 30 years old and is a very hard-working and responsible woman. She lives in one of her relatives along with her three daughters: Martha, age 12; Maritza age 9; and Yudith age 5; all of whom she wishes to give a good future.

Along with her inseparable tricycle she works from the early morning hours selling delicious fruit on the Juliaca city streets. She has many customers as the fruit she sells is very fresh and flavorful.

What she likes about her work is conversing with her customers and in this way increasing her sales. She has been selling fruit for 6 years and the most difficult thing about her work is having to walk all day beneath the inclement sun.

This is Consuela’s fourth loan with MFP and she feels very confident in being able to pay her payments on time, as she doesn’t want to cause problems for her communal bank, where she very loved, as she is the youngest member and happy. With 1600 soles she seeks she will buy more fruit to better stock her cart.
