Thanh Yen 76 Group's story

The woman standing first on the right in the photo is Hoa. She was born in 1973 and is a Thai ethnic woman. Hoa is married and has two sons. Her family lives in a Thai stilt house in a poor and remote area. Most of her family's income comes from agricultural production. Her main hardship is the lack of capital needed to expand her farm.

Hoa has taken her share of a loan from Anh Chi Em to purchase pigs and chickens to raise and sell. She will use the profit from this investment to increase her animal husbandry business.

Hoa dreams of giving a better life to her sons in the future.
