Madhabilata's story

Madhabilata is a 30-year-old married woman residing in Nadia district, West Bengal. Her household has three members and a monthly household income of INR 7,200.

Her family is engaged in a fruit-selling business. They purchase mangoes, apples, pomegranates, bananas, oranges and other fruit from the wholesale market and sell them in the retail store.

She wants to help her family expand the fruit selling business by purchasing larger amounts of fruit. She has applied for a loan of INR 25,000 from Gram Bikash Kendra (one of Milaap's field partners). She and her family will be thankful to their lenders.
