A loan of $1,000 helped to buy feed for her cattle.

Feliciana's story

Feliciana L. J. is 62 years old. She lives in San Francisco Goteras, located in the department of Morazán. Her family is made up of her sister, her niece, and a granddaughter who is in Feliciana’s care. She works raising cattle, an occupation which has been inherited by generations of her family. She raises cattle for fattening, which she sells to her customers. She also makes and sells cheese and cream and sells beef. This is how she and her family have had a stable life and it has allowed them to always have what they needed. Feliciana is requesting a loan which she can use to buy feed for her cattle, so that she can improve their quality so that they will sell more easily. Feliciana and her sister have worked their whole life in this business. They want to continue with it, improve the conditions of the business, and then, like their parents, leave it to their children someday.
