A loan helped to purchase raw meat.

Unar's story

Unar is 37 years old and lives with her husband and four children in the Bayan-Ulgii province of western Mongolia. She and her family live together in a ger, a traditional Mongolian nomadic tent. All four of her children attend a local secondary school. Her husband is a doctor in the provincial hospital and Unar operates a café in her town.

She began her business in 2007 and currently makes 15 different Mongolian meals. Her business became successful as a result of her high quality cooking and good customer service. Because of the growth of her business, she has been able to hire three employees who are also benefiting from the café’s success. She hopes to keep improving her business so that she can keep contributing to the family’s earnings and so that she can provide her children with a quality education.

Unar is requesting a 1,000,000 MNT loan in order to purchase meat for her café.
