Dorjdulam's story

T. is 32 years old and lives with her 16-year-old son in Bayanhongor province, Mongolia. She and her son live in a ger, a traditional Mongolian tent, and she makes a living by operating a clothing business. She started this business in 2006 after working as a salesperson for several years. At first she sold groceries, then moved on to making traditional Mongolian clothing. She is planning to expand her clothing stall in the future. With her business earnings, she pays for her son's education. She is hardworking and has great passion and energy. She says, “With my earnings I want to buy a ger for my son.” She is requesting a 620,000 tugrug (~$436 US) loan to buy products for her business.
