Upendo Group - Morogoro's story

Masudi is in her late 40s. She is a married mother of three children who are still in school. She is into the transport sector - she owns a taxi. She bought a car 10 years back and employs a driver to transport people from one place to another and earns profit. Her taxi operates normally from 6 in the morning and closes at 10:30 in the night and she earns profit.

This will be Masudi's third loan request from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used her previous loan to repair her taxi. She earned profit that she used to pay school fees for her children and pay salary to her taxi driver. She managed to pay back the loan on time. She is applying for this loan to buy new tyres, change a few parts of her car such as side mirror and gear box, and buy more fuel. Her dream is to become a big businesswoman in the near future.

Masudi will share a portion of this loan with her loan group members of "Upendo group" Morogoro. They will be responsible for paying back the loan successfully.
