Vorn S. M., 34, is a widow and lives with her four children in Phnom Penh City, Cambodia. To make a living, she sews and designs clothes for new and existing customers. She has been in business since 2002 and earns $4 per day. Vorn and her family seek to improve their standard of living and want to generate a better income. S. M. is asking for a loan of $800 to purchase a motorbike for her family's transportation. She thinks this loan will reduce public transportation expenses. This is her first loan from CREDIT MFI. She hopes to improve her business. She wants her children to finish high school and build a good house for her family.
