A loan of $1,200 helped to purchase a plot of land for cultivation.

Hernan's story

Hernan is 26 years old and dedicated to his job. He is not married, but he lives with Gabriela, who is the mother of his two-year-old son. They live in Huañacahua, in the community of Vinto, west of the department of Cochabamba.

Hernan is requesting this credit to purchase a plot of land close to his house, in order to be able to work the land while being close to his home and his son. He wants to be with his son as much as possible, because he was abandoned by his own father when he was a child and does not have a single memory of him. He says that his mother is everything to him, for always being by his side.

This loan will also make it possible for him to increase his income, since his main activity is agriculture, which his mother taught him as a child. He also is involved in the production of milk, along with his wife. Additionally, he works as a mason when he is not working in agriculture. He works a lot to give his son a better life, and in the near future he would like to marry Gabriela and continue working to be able to help his mother.
