Henry Gitau's story

Henry Gitau is 34 years old and married to Salome Waithera. They have a son called Lawrence K.. Henry was introduced to Kadet by a former neighbour who is a Kadet client who had borrowed a loan previously with another microfinance institution.


Henry runs a series of businesses, all located in Kisumu Ndogo-Malindi. They include a barbershop, a tailoring shop, a stall where he has placed a pool table, and a boda boda (bicycle) taxi from which he gets a monthly profit of Kshs 7,000. He has been operating all these for nine years. With this loan, he plans to add a pool table to the one he already has, and add materials for his tailoring business. With the extra earnings/profits, he will build a place where all his businesses can be located.


He desires to be a prominent business entrepreneur in Malindi.
