A loan of $250 helped to increase inventory of merchandise.

Katerinne's story

Katerinne is a hard-working and cheerful young woman of 18 years. She lives in her parents' home, and what she most wants is to excel in life. Her business is the sale of wedding gifts. Every day she goes out on foot to sell her beautiful household goods, but she is most successful when she stands outside churches and takes advantage of the opportunity to sell her items to wedding guests. What she likes most about her job is wrapping the gifts because it's fun. She has two years of experience, and the most difficult part of the work is having to walk all day under the blazing sun. She hopes that in time she will be able to open a store to sell her items in a more leisurely manner. This is Katerinne's first loan with MFP, and she is very happy about the opportunity and intends to make all of her payments on time. She is a very responsible member of her communal bank. With the seven hundred nuevos soles requested, she will purchase more merchandise to improve her business's inventory.
