A loan of $3,575 helped a member operating capital.

Las Tequileras Group's story

Delmira represents the “Las Tequileras” group, which is comprised of 13 members. Together they are in a new cycle; they demonstrate responsibility and the desire to get ahead.

Each one of the members has a different economic activity. Most of them sell clothes for all ages and various foods in the market. The rest of the members, a minority, make bread. The president is a manicurist. There is a great deal of competition, even within the group. It depends a lot on the type of clothes being sold, their quality, and the way they sell. The food sellers always have an optimal level of sales so they do not have big problems.

The loan is to get seasonal merchandise. They will also get supplies, raw material, and tools to improve their sales and generate greater income. This will allow them to give their families a better quality of life.

In this group: Delmira, Lita Licet, Juana, Maria Julia, Lissybeth, Elizabeth, Vanesa Lilia, Carmen Celva, Yessenia Briyith, Leticia, Giorgina Nattier*, Iris Lainer, Nancy
