Luz Y Vida Group's story

Mrs. María Elvira represents the “Luz y vida” group which has 21 members. They are beginning the first loan cycle with the institution and have shown a lot of friendship and desire to work and get ahead in their prior meetings. Each one of the group members works at a different sales job such as selling food, bread, snacks, groceries in stores, spare parts for motorbikes, soft drinks, hammocks, and also in services such as doorman, transportation by motorbike taxis and general jobs. The group members are aware of what really makes the difference between one business and another, the treatment given to the customers so that they become faithful to the products offered by the group members. This is why they don’t have much competition in their job market. The purpose of the new financing is to acquire goods, supplies and tools that will help them generate better incomes in order to be able to give their families a better quality of life. As for experience, the group members have experience at institutions similar to the Agrocapital foundation. Therefore, they have the capacity to administer the funds granted to them, to grow their businesses and improve their income more each day since the well-being of their families depends on it.
