Arminda's story

Señora Arminda González de Toñanez is 60 years old and has been separated for 8 years. They have 6 older children, 5 of whom are married and one whom is single, lives with his mother and is in his first year of law school. Señora Arminda owns a general store in her house which she has had since 1993 where she sells groceries and hardware. She is requesting a loan to buy wholesale goods like sugar, rice and beans of distinct types and brands. In this way, she would make the prices of her goods cheaper and would obtain improved income from the sale of these products. Also, she will have a better variety of merchandise to offer to her customers and provide them a better service. She appreciates the support from the Foundation through the credit provided.
