A loan of $925 helped to buy fertilizer and supplies that will improve his harvest.

Oswaldo Jose's story

Mr. Oswaldo is a farmer in the Cobilaco zone located in the rural municipal zone of La Concepcion. Thanks to the support of his parents he has been able to work cultivating pineapple. The largest obstacle to this work is that he doesn’t have the economic resources to purchase fertilizer and other supplies necessary to improve the yield and quality of his harvest. Mr. Oswaldo has three sons that study and work on the farm with him. His dream is to be able to always support them in their studies because he hopes they will be good people. His wife works as a businesswoman in the market in Managua. She does this in order to help with the necessities of the home. They are country people and the money that they earn does not cover all their expenses. He would be happy with the loan that would pay for fertilizers that would improve his pineapple harvest. He thanks Afodenic for the loan and for their time.
