A loan of $1,000 helped tO BUY GOODS, DOMESTIC AND PERSONAL, TO SELL FROM HIS CARTS.

Douglas Edgardo's story

Douglas Edgardo is 21 years old and resides in Tonacatepeque in the Department of San Salvador. He lives with his wife and their 2 minor girls, aged 9, who are students.

Douglas has a business selling domestic products, such as cups and plates, and products for personal use like belts. He sells his goods from a cart that he pushes around in the center of the capital, San Salvador, which is always very crowded with people. Also, Douglas pays two other people to do the same work in other parts of the city center.

He requests a loan to be able to expand his products and buy new styles of belts, since he wants to be in the vanguard with his sales and in this manner, to sell more. All this he does thinking of his children and his wife who is dedicated to caring for the girls and helping them with their studies. Douglas needs to increase his sales since this is the only source of income he possesses.
