Ella es una mujer muy trabajadora, la cual posee una tienda de producto varias en su hogar, negocio el cual lo puso con el fin de brindarle ayuda a su esposo, sobre todo en estos momentos tan difíciles económicamente. Esmeralda solícita un préstamo, ya que desea surtir su negocio comprando otros productos como zapatos, más bebidas enlatadas, entre otras cosas más la cuales son de primera necesidad para las personas. Esmeralda anhela poder mejorar sus ventas, ya que desea poder darles todo lo necesario a sus hijos, lo cual es imposible brindárselo únicamente con el trabajo de su esposo.
