Rosalinda Matea's story

Rosalinda R., 30, is married and she's an artisan. She makes typical sashes. She lives with her children and has been in this line of work for 8 years. She lives in Paraje Xecaja, which is in the Poxlajuj territory of the department and municipality of Totonicapán, Guatemala. Currently, demand for her wares has increased but her economic situation does not permit her to increase her capital. For this reason, she has called upon Asociación ASDIR to request financing to buy raw materials with which to increase her sales hoping, thereby, to help her family get ahead in life and to have better living conditions.
