Manvel G. was born in 1965. He lives and works in Yegheg village, in the Kapan area. He is the manager of a household village school. Manvel is married and has 3 children: 2 sons and a daughter. One of his sons serves in the Armenian Army, and the second one studies at the Kapan Agricultural Institute in the juridical department. His daughter will finish high school next year. Manvel’s wife is a nurse at a hospital. All of Manvel’s family is engaged in bee-keeping. Bee-keeping takes a lot of time for its upkeep and development; in the summer months it requires approximately 8 hours per day, and in the other seasons 4 hours per day, but Manvel is not afraid of difficulties and he is very proud of his business. To increase his family’s annual income, Manvel needs a 1,050,000 AMD loan to buy a pickup truck to move his bee families from place to place depending on the season.
