A loan of $350 helped increase agricultural production.

Jesus's story

Jesús is 23. He lives with his life partner and mother of his two year old son. The house where they live is his own.

For five years he has had a farm in the same location as his house. He plants staple food crops like bananas, citrus fruits, yucca, and rice among others. He also raises poultry and pork.

What Jesús likes about his activities is doing his work well. Above all, he likes keeping his farm in a good state. Once he harvests his products he sells them every week in the local market. He gets good earnings because all of his products are good quality and fresh.

This is his second loan with MFP. What he likes about being part of a communal bank is that all of his colleagues are united. They keep problems away, and they are very hard-working. The money he is asking for is to invest totally in greater production on his farm.
