A loan helped to buy more pigs to raise and food for them, to improve her production.

Maria's story

Maria is 59 years old and lives in the municipality of El Bagre. She’s a single mother who has six children, and it hasn’t been easy, but she’s very loving and responsible. Her children are the reason why she decided to start raising pigs four years ago, to make sure they wouldn’t lack anything. She lives in a town that has faced violence for many years. She wants to do better, so she’s asking for a loan to buy more pigs to raise and food for them, to improve her production.
