A loan of $3,575 helped a member increase working capital.

Siempre Amigas Group's story

The "Siempre Amigas" ("Always Friends") group is represented by Maria Kelly and consists of 14 members who are entering their second loan cycle demonstrating honesty and responsibility with their payments as well as the ability to administer the funds. Each one of the members makes a living in different commercial activities, such as selling food, cosmetics, groceries at neighborhood stores, rice, jewelry, as well as offering hair-cutting, carpentry and laundry services. The members are aware that what really separates one business from another is its treatment of its customers, and it's for this reason they don't have too much competition. The loan will be used to acquire merchandise, ingredients and tools that will help the members generate more income to be able to give their families a better quality of life. In regards to their loan experience, the group ran into some bad members in a previous group, but they have kept moving forward and have been timely with their payments working together as a team.
